The famous writer Kahlil Gibran once said “work is love made visible.” I believe my consistent interactions of checking-in to see how someone is doing, seeking to understand how I can best support people in general (not just the workplace) and defaulting to action when someone could use a boost in morale or help in any way possible, is where I make a difference people love.
I believe that by recognizing an individual’s unique gifts and helping them realize their full potential, we can demonstrate that we truly care about them as a whole person, and resonate as more than a co-worker, business connection or client. Serving others well involves being truly empathetic. I am confident that my team, community and the people I serve, know deep in their hearts that I am always transparent, authentic and available when they need someone to count on. Ultimately I believe love, passion, strategic effort and drive lead to results.
I have an insatiable drive to win and potentially a competition problem. I will go to the extreme to help those around me realize their full potential and partnering with me is an all or nothing game. I love learning about strategy, exploring self-development and the development of those around me. My small family bring me joy that is disproportionate to almost all other things in life. I have been championing preventative initiatives to support people’s health & wellbeing since before this became fashionable. As a (recovering) perfectionist I am very detail-oriented yet love to explore strategies to help people win at whatever it is they are seeking to achieve.
